General Rules for Students
- School Timings: Morning session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Afternoon session runs from 1:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Students attending the morning session must not absent themselves from the afternoon session without prior permission from the Principal.
- Wearing the prescribed school uniform is strictly compulsory on all working days. Special uniform must be worn on Wednesdays.
- Students must be punctual. Latecomers or those returning after an absence must present a written explanation in the leave record signed by their parent or guardian.
- No student is permitted to leave the school campus during school hours or recess intervals without explicit permission from the Principal.
- It is strictly forbidden to write, scribble, or deface the walls, scatter paper/ink inside classrooms, or cause any damage to school property. Any damage caused must be compensated or rectified.
- Students are entirely responsible for their own personal belongings, including books, pens, bicycles, tiffin carriers, and bags.
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disrespect toward teachers or staff, or undesirable moral conduct are sufficient grounds for dismissal.
- Students are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct both within the campus and outside the school.
- Absence from examinations without a grave, valid reason will be treated as a failure in that particular evaluation.
- All correspondence addressed to students at the school is subject to inspection by the administration.
- Absence on the opening and closing days of a term, or immediately before and after special vacations (such as Onam or Christmas), will be viewed seriously and penalized.
- In the event of illness, parents must notify the school authorities well in time through a formal leave application.
- Attendance at official school events, functions, annual sports meets, and institutional celebrations is compulsory.
- Students are strictly forbidden from participating in strikes, political factions, or any demonstrations likely to breach discipline or disrupt harmony. Non-compliance results in immediate disciplinary action.
- In the temporary absence of a teacher, the class leader (or assistant class leader) is responsible for maintaining order and quietness. All students must cooperate with the leaders.
- Students are strictly forbidden from driving any kind of motorized vehicle (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, or cars) inside the school premises.
- Bringing mobile phones, cameras, smartwatches with recording features, storage drives, or unauthorized media to school is strictly prohibited.
- Bringing or consuming any form of intoxicating substances or tobacco products is a major offense. Those indulging in these habits will face immediate dismissal.
- Students are not permitted to distribute sweets or food items in classrooms or on school buses for birthdays, festivals, or private occasions.
Recommendations to Parents & Guardians
- Parents are expected to fully cooperate with the school management by enforcing regularity, prompt punctuality, clean discipline, and by keeping a close track of their child’s academic progress.
- Parents are requested to read through these rules carefully and ensure they are faithfully complied with by their children.
- Please check the School Diary daily for assigned homework and announcements. Parents are requested not to visit classrooms or engage class teachers during live instructional hours. You may interact with teachers during scheduled recess times or with prior appointments.
- Parents seeking information or wanting to file a concern should approach the Principal directly, rather than discussing it with the class teacher. Criticizing teachers in front of children should be strictly avoided as it undermines the child’s respect for educators.
- Progress reports detailing performance indicators and attendance tallies will be shared after every periodic assessment or examination. Parents must review these parameters carefully to guide their children in weaker subjects.
- If you notice that your child is facing developmental or academic stagnation, please request a meeting with the Principal to find supportive solutions.
- Teachers are strictly forbidden from imposing arbitrary monetary fines, and they are restricted from organizing any unauthorized collections from students without the explicit sanction of the Principal.
- Withdrawing your child from active academic sessions to attend extended social functions is highly discouraged; it breaks their rhythm of study and dilutes their valuation of steady hard work.
- Should any member of your household contract a contagious or infectious disease, please notify the Principal immediately and do not send the child to school until a medical clearance certificate is obtained.
- As the primary mediums of instruction encompass English and Malayalam, home environments should ideally provide a constructive framework to help children grasp their concepts confidently.
